Alison Rawlinson


I first joined the team in 1984 as a Secretary/P.A. and I’ve worked here for so long that I feel like part of the furniture! I provide secretarial support to the partners and other members of staff and when I first started working here I used a basic electric typewriter to type accounts and correspondence. Technology has advanced a lot since then and I have embraced the changes and adapted but the one constant has been my shorthand skills which I still use on a daily basis.

My role has also developed over time and alongside my secretarial duties I now also provide administrative support to a charitable organisation which is a client of the firm. This role has meant me developing new skills and has proved challenging but I feel I have risen to the challenge and find the work very rewarding.
